As part of , weβll be joining in with βWear it Green Dayβ on Thursday 14 May. Weβre encouraging everyone to wear something green. Whether itβs a t-shirt, hoodie, accessory, or even a small touch to show support and help spark conversations about mental health. Together, letβs turn our campuses and learning centres across the UHI partnership green for good mental health π
This week is a reminder that looking after your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Life can be busy and sometimes overwhelming, so here are some simple ways to support your wellbeing:
π Stay connected β Reach out to friends, classmates, or family. A quick chat can make a big difference.
π Take breaks β Give yourself time to rest and recharge, especially during busy study periods.
π Get moving β Even a short walk or light exercise can boost your mood and energy.
π Talk about how you feel β Whether itβs a friend, lecturer, or support service, you donβt have to keep things to yourself.
π Set realistic goals β Break tasks into manageable steps and celebrate small wins.
π Look after your basics β Try to get enough sleep, eat regularly, and stay hydrated.
Remember, itβs okay to ask for help and to take time for yourself. Letβs work together to create a supportive and understanding campus community.
