Through the University of Suffolk Student Impact Projects, local organisations can work with talented students on live business briefs, gaining fresh thinking, new ideas, and additional capacity along the way.

From marketing and research projects to process improvement and innovation challenges, students apply the latest academic thinking directly to real-world business needs.

The process is fully supported by the university, including:

• recruitment
• onboarding
• payroll
• project support

You provide the challenge. We help build the project around it.

Projects can be fully funded for eligible organisations, making this an accessible way for businesses to test ideas, explore opportunities, and connect with future talent.

We're really delighted to be able to share this latest achievement.

With the continuing support of our excellent lecturers and course programmes our apprentices work incredibly hard and make great additions to their employers who mentor and progress them within their businesses.

We're among the top five university providers in England for our apprenticeship achievement rates! 🙌

Latest government data has recorded a 90.8% achievement rate for the 2024/25 academic year, well above the national achievement rate of 65.4% for all providers.

And we're launching new degree apprenticeships for 2026 to boost opportunities in the region!

Congratulations to Xenia Zimmerman who has been shortlisted for Apprentice of the Year at The Apprenticeship Guide Awards this year.

Xenia completed a Level 6 BSc (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions (Software Engineering) degree apprenticeship achieving a very impressive First Class honours.
