A huge well done to Alice Payne, who has achieved a Distinction in her Level 3 Performing Arts Extended Diploma! 👏🎉

Alice is now taking the next exciting step in her journey, heading to the Northern School of Drama in Newcastle for a one-year actor training and mentorship programme, Project A based at The Newcastle Royal Theatre. 🎬🌟

Her ambition is to become a professional performer and, hopefully, continue her training at drama school in the future.

Reflecting on her time at Kendal College, Alice said:

“Best thing about Kendal College is the tutors, they are dedicated and really care about you. There is nothing else like this in the area. It was the perfect choice for me. I feel so lucky.”

We’re so proud of Alice and can’t wait to see where her talent, passion and determination take her next! Break a leg! 🎭❤️

A huge congratulations to Silas Woolley, who has achieved a Distinction in his Level 3 Performing Arts Extended Diploma! 🎉

“I’m really, really happy. My whole life I thought I wasn’t academic, I didn’t really fit into the school system — I’d have to find my place elsewhere. But I’ve thrived here, and it’s given me new hope and life and opportunities.”

And he’s only just getting started! Silas is progressing to Level 4 Performing Arts next year, where he’ll continue to hone his acting skills.

“I would love to go to drama school in the future and take acting as far as I can. It’s my passion, and I’ve proved I can do it.”

Well done Ryan!

Ryan has passed his Level 3 Theatre & Event Technology and is heading to the University of Salford to continue developing his skills, build his professional portfolio and make his mark on the industry.

We asked Ryan to tell us about his Kendal College experience and this is what he said:
“Being at college is the most fun I’ve ever had, I feel seen and heard.”

Now, he’s excited for the next chapter, both personally and professionally, as he moves from the countryside to Salford and takes every opportunity to progress his career.

Ryan’s advice? ‘Take every opportunity you can.’ We couldn’t agree more!

🎭❄️ FROM ELSA TO ITALIA CONTI! ❄️🎭

Huge congratulations to Elesia Ryder on achieving a fantastic Distinction in her Level 3 Performing Arts Extended Diploma! 👏✨

Elesia recently took centre stage as Elsa in our incredible Frozen production - a role she absolutely loved!

After two years at college, she’s now heading to Italia Conti to study BA (Hons) Acting (Musical Theatre). 🎓🎶

Along the way, Elesia has grown in confidence, learned to work as an independent performer and embraced the drama school audition season- all while making brilliant memories with her friends and tutors.

Well done, Elesia! Your next chapter is going to be spectacular!🌟

A huge congratulations to Robert Wight, who has achieved a fantastic Distinction in Level 3 Film Production! 👏🎉

So, what’s next? Robert is heading into a year of freelancing, with some exciting projects already lined up, including a music tour with a folk band and some exciting brand work. 🎥🎶

And after that? University next year! 🎓

For now, Robert is celebrating Results Day with some cricket training today, followed by catching up with a friend tomorrow. We’re incredibly proud of you, Robert. Congratulations on a brilliant achievement and best of luck with everything that’s ahead! 🌟

A huge congratulations to Emily Fenton on an amazing set of A-Level results! 👏✨

Emily is heading off on a gap year, including a trip to Japan for her dad’s 60th, before completing an Art Foundation Year and then studying Physics at university. She’s considering her Uni options, including Oxford and Durham - incredible! 🇯🇵🎨🎓

Emily says the support from her tutors and creating lasting friendships have been highlights of her time at college.

🎉 What a Results Day at Kendal College! 🎉

Today, around 500 young people received their Level 3 results – and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they’ve achieved. 💙

🌟 416 high grades achieved across Level 3 qualifications
👏 70% of students achieved high grades
🎨 199 Creative students achieved high grades across five disciplines
🏆 83% of T Level students achieved high grades
⭐ 33% of T Level students achieved the highest grade

There were some incredible T Level achievements too, with 100% of Finance students achieving a Distinction - the highest grade possible - alongside 63% of Agriculture students.

Today is about so much more than the numbers. It’s about the hard work, determination and ambition behind every result - and the exciting next steps ahead. ❤️

A huge congratulations to all our students, and thank you to the staff, families and friends who have supported them along the way.

☕ Join us at our Milnthorpe Road Campus on Results Day to collect your results, speak to our friendly team about your options and celebrate your achievements with free coffee and bacon sandwiches (available on A Level & T Level Results Day).

Collect your printed results from Milnthorpe Road Campus between 9.00am and 12.00pm

You can catch up with tutors and classmates and speak to our team if you'd like advice about your next steps.

Please remember to bring your student ID when collecting your results.
(Results not collected by 12 noon will be posted.)
