LIVING LEGENDS CORBY EXHIBITION: Rooftop Art Gallery
Hey all, if you have the chance go and visit the current exhibition based at the Rooftop Arts Centre, Living Legends: Hidden Histories. It is a very insightful and fascinating exhibit, filled with hidden stories of Corby and the changing face of the town. This was inspired by the "humans of New York project" a social media campaign. 10 People have been selected locally, whom have an extraordinary, inspirational and at times surprising story to share. In the exhibit, you will also get opportunity to participate in a workshop and fill the wall of untold heroes. Best about it, the exhibition is free !

Dates: 2nd May – 2nd June
Times: 11.00am – 4.00pm (Wednesdays – Saturdays only)

This was an image manipulation Adobe Photoshop session inspired by Designer and illustrator Dela Deso. Students brought in their own portrait to work with and them from directions, worked on producing their own "grime effect portrait".

Recently we challenged L3 students to restore an old photograph. Initially students were introduced and shown a range of tools in Adobe Photoshop and then from this... the challenge began! This was an old photograph a student brought in to work with.. I have to say the before and after is great ! Come and sign up and learn yourself.

The Graphics team have recently been working with Photography Level 3 students doing Photoshop manipulation tutorials. These are some recent outcomes, exploring the "Glitch" effect. We love image manipulation, come and learn yourself and study with us !

Level 2 Design students worked on Rorschach inspired designs in one of their most recent projects. The task was inspired by Rorschach, this being an inkblot psychological test consisting of 10 inkblots printed on cards, 5 in black and white, 5 in colour. This was in fact created in 1921 with the publication of Psychodiagnostik by Hermann Rorschach. Why not come explore and learn new skills?
