What a fantastic day at the Green Technology Centre! 🎢

Today, we welcomed local school students for the , delivered by STEMWorks

Working in teams, students were challenged to design and build their own theme park attractions, showcasing creativity, teamwork and problem solving skills throughout the day.

Congratulations to Dawson and Ernest from Eckington First School, who were named winners, and to runners up Isabelle and Jessica from Aston Fields Middle School. 🏆

A huge well done to everyone who took part and thank you to STEMWorks, the schools, judges and supporters who helped make the event such a success.

This year’s Art & Design Show featured work inspired by sound, distance travelled and futuristic cities, with every piece offering a unique perspective and creative response to the brief. 
 
Our students showcased an incredible range of talent, imagination and technical skill, bringing their ideas to life through a variety of artistic mediums. A huge well done to everyone who exhibited their work and helped make the show such a success. 👏

Congratulations to our Beauty students Emily and Star on progressing to the final stage of the competition! 👏✨
 
After impressing in the earlier rounds, Emily and Star will now go on to represent at the national finals, taking place at North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College later this month.
 
This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the talent, dedication and professionalism they have shown throughout the competition.

What a way to end the year for our IGNITE AMTD students🎭
 
GRIMM: The Musical brought classic fairytales to life in a bold and imaginative original production, featuring outstanding performances, incredible costumes, and a soundtrack packed with musical theatre favourites.
 
Created through the creativity, collaboration and hard work of our talented students and staff, the show delivered an unforgettable evening of storytelling, humour, heart and spectacle.
 
Congratulations to everyone involved in another fantastic IGNITE production. 👏

Our Creative Media Production students have been busy working on their Final Major Projects, creating professional content and gaining valuable experience out on set 🎥
 
This project marked the final day of filming for ‘Hospitalization’, a brand new music video created for 👏
 
Students took on a range of roles throughout the production, including camera operation, lighting, directing and production, helping them develop valuable practical skills for a future career in the media industry.
