HETA HETA is an industry led, not-for-profit charity providing apprenticeships and adult training in engineering and manufacturing.

Since establishment in 1967, HETA have provided over 5000 apprentices to industry. HETA operates in Hull, Grimsby and Scunthorpe Supporting young people into higher education and exciting engineering careers. HETA specialise in a range of engineering trades including; Electrical, Mechanical, Machining, Fabrication & Welding, Process Operations, Marine and many more.

👷‍♀️ More women are choosing engineering, and we’re proud to be part of it.
This year, we’ve seen a real increase in the number of female learners starting their engineering journey with us. And that’s something worth celebrating. 🎉

It’s fantastic to see more women recognising the opportunities available in engineering and taking that first step towards building a career in an industry that needs fresh ideas, different perspectives and new talent.

Yesterday, our team had a fantastic time attending the Hull and East Riding Apprenticeship Fair which saw over 2000 students from local schools and surrounding areas explore their options.

We loved talking to the students about the apprenticeships we offer and how we can support them in kickstarting their career in engineering.

We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Field Team Assessor to join our team and support the development of apprentices across the region.

This is an opportunity to use your industry knowledge and experience to help young people build their technical skills, confidence and future careers in engineering.

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills and, importantly, a genuine commitment to developing young people.

Across three brilliant days, we delivered engaging sessions to students from 12 schools across Lincolnshire, giving them the opportunity to discover more about the exciting world of engineering.

It was fantastic to see students getting involved, asking questions and exploring the wide range of opportunities available within the engineering industry. We hope we’ve helped inspire the next generation of engineers! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️
