We were thrilled to collaborate with our Employer Partner, Arco: Experts In Safety , again this year for the second annual Empower Women Now programme. 👏

The programme pairs female students who're interested in STEM careers with accomplished female professionals from Arco: Experts In Safety . 🔬🔧

Connecting our female students with Arco: Experts In Safety 's professionals showcases the opportunities available to them while challenging the stereotypes that often deter young women from entering STEM fields.

Throughout the programme, the pairs discussed topics such as personal development, preparing for interviews, writing job applications, career pathways and so much more. 💭

Empower Women Now continues to play a crucial role in helping our young women see a future for themselves in STEM.

Alongside students who're staying at our Sixth Form, or moving on to college, a number of our departing Year 11s have also secured apprenticeships. 🎉

Will Sutton and Evie Clark are among those continuing their education in the work place after each securing sought after apprenticeships! 👏

Will has secured a mechanical maintenance apprenticeship with Cranswick Plc , which will see him learn how to survey machinery and ensure smooth operations, while Evie has secured a healthcare support apprenticeship with the NHS , and hopes to progress on to a nursing qualification in future. 🔧💉

Triple success for Basi, Ahnaf and Victor! 👏

Friends Basi Dinu, Ahnaf Miah and Victor Adediran were celebrating big after all securing top results in their GCSE and technical qualifications!

They're all progressing onto A-levels with Basi and Victor hoping to pursue aerospace engineering, and Ahnaf setting his sights on a career in chemical engineering! 🔧

The sky's the limit for Aurelia Roberts who secured an impressive set of GCSE and technical results including a 9 in Biology and 8s in Chemistry and Maths! 🔬👏

The 16-year-old is staying with us for Sixth Form and will be studying A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, with dreams of securing an apprenticeship which will enable her to travel abroad. ✈️

The GCSE celebrations are still in full swing! 🎉

Sports enthusiast Charlie Thackray has not only achieved remarkable GCSE and technical results but is also building a promising career in rugby. 🏉

He earned excellent grades, including 9s in Chemistry, Maths, and Further Maths, all of which he will continue to study at A-level! ➗

Alongside his GCSEs he has also been attending the Yorkshire Rugby Union Academy and was celebrating his impressive results by heading straight to a game! Here’s hoping the match goes just as well as his results day! 👏

What a brilliant GCSE Results Day!

We’ve loved sharing the moment with our students as they opened their GCSE results and celebrated some fantastic achievements.

We’re so proud of them all and can’t wait to see what comes next, whether they’re staying with us for Sixth Form or heading off to something new.
