Which one of these rings is my actual wedding ring…? 💍🤔

Since my last post was all about wedding anniversaries, it felt only right that this one stayed on theme.

I’ve been in the studio recently, brushing up on my product‑photography skills 📸, and it reminded me just how similar photographing wedding rings can be. It’s all about patience, setup, and making sure every element in the frame works together to make that little piece of jewellery shine ✨.

I also wanted to challenge myself: could I create this style of ring shot using only the minimal gear I’d have with me on a wedding day?
Turns out — yes, absolutely. 🙌

So if any of my couples would love a ring image like this on their wedding day, just say the word.

P.S. The Wife refused to lend me her ring because she’s convinced I’d lose it… RUDE 😂 So I bought a cheap diamond ring off eBay for practice. Needs must??

Time to face facts and melt away makeup with this Cleansing Balm by Face Facts

For this shot, I wanted to create more of a hero image to really emphasise the product. I used the green from the outer packaging in the background and introduced a purple ledge to echo the purple lettering on the container. Every colour choice was intentional, helping to create a cohesive image that keeps the focus exactly where it belongs.

After taking the 1st image with the bottle laying down I came up with the idea of having it on a black reflective surface, a bit more evenly lit and adding water droplets, but now I can't decide which one I like more 🤣

Last week got so busy that I actually forgot to show you all where I was!!

I was given the opportunity to go over to Liverpool for a week to shoot more Graduates (honestly, it's becoming like fish in a barrel at this point 🤣🤣 ).

Such a beautiful city!! I'd love to go back again for a holiday sometime without working to be able to really take it all in.
