We had a wonderful evening โ˜บ๏ธ hosting our Year 6 parents, carers and students on Tuesday last week, to talk about life at the college and our upcoming Transition days on the 13 and 14 July.

A huge thank you our team of Year 7 guides who welcomed guests on their arrival and thank you to Evie and Charlotte who delivered speeches about their time at the college so far and offering advice and guidance to our new Year 7s. ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘ ๐Ÿ‘

Our Head Students for 2026-2027, Harry and Janka also delivered speeches to share their experiences of life at school, including how we live our values to Dream Big ๐Ÿ’ญ , Be Kind ๐Ÿ™ and Take Responsibility ๐Ÿ’ช every day!

We had a great day on the coast today, complete with a sunny finish.

Year 10 were focused on their Paper 3 prep, taking measurements at the groynes to gather data on how longshore driftaffects the beach, as well as examining the coastal processes at Langstone Rock. ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŒพ

The group truly lived our school motto today: they dreamed big with their fieldwork data, showed kindness and polite behaviour to members of the public, and took responsibility for their own learning.

We are delighted to invite all Launceston Sixth offer holders to our Year 12 Induction Day on Thursday 9th July ๐Ÿ“….

This exciting event is a fantastic opportunity to experience life at Launceston Sixth first-hand ๐ŸŽ“. You will take part in introductory taster sessions in your chosen subjects ๐Ÿ“š, meet staff and fellow students ๐Ÿค, and begin to get a real feel for sixth form life.

Alongside this, there will be plenty of time to relax and socialise, including a BBQ lunch ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”ฅ and a range of fun activities such as Zorb Football โšฝ, the Bungee Run, and Mini Golf โ›ณ, to name just a few!

Driven by a passion for representation, ambition, and opportunity, Charlotte is committed to ensuring every student feels empowered to achieve their full potential.

Throughout her time at school, Charlotte has embraced the many opportunities and support available to her, and she is passionate about giving back to the community that has helped shape her journey.
