Information update- All stay and play groups at Chapeltown and Meanwood children’s centres are paused until further notice whilst centres transition into a larger team. We plan to provide a stay and play from the 21st September at Chapeltown. Please keep checking our page for further communication and updates regarding groups. Thank you ☺️

As part of the city wide children’s centre review Manor Wood Children’s Centre has now closed. Stay and play sessions can be accessed at Meanwood children’s centre. Families are also welcome to access Chapeltown Children’s Centre. All groups return W/C 5th January 2026.

Our baby group is now based within Little Owls Meanwood every Wednesday. Come and join us, where you will find a friendly and warm group for your baby to explore the world of play and discovery together each week. Our group is exclusively for pre walkers to allow them a quieter environment to play. No need to book just turn up at 10.30am. Please call the family services team if you have any further questions 0113 3780042.

Are you pregnant or recently had your baby? Come and join our Maternal Journal classes at Chapeltown Children’s Centre, run by dedicated midwives. A chance to learn more about your pregnancy, birth & baby, all whilst becoming creative. Ask your midwife to refer you from 16weeks or alternatively contact Nada- details on the posts. Starting weekly from 10th October! 🤰👩‍🍼
