We were delighted to welcome Netra Sridhar (MA Advertising and Marketing, 2024) back to campus for our Lunch with Alumni event for current students.

Netra shared her journey into the marketing industry, from gaining hands-on experience during her studies by supporting local businesses with social media marketing, to securing her role at Sensational Ventures. She also offered practical advice on navigating the graduate job market and standing out to employers.

Describing her return as a “full-circle moment”, Netra inspired students to stay proactive, embrace new opportunities, and approach their career journeys with confidence.

In February and March, we hosted a series of inspiring alumni events across New Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Hosted by Masoud Golshan-Shirazi, the events explored 'The Future of Evolving Indian Leadership in a Fast-Changing World', with engaging alumni panels and discussions drawing on a wide range of professional expertise. The events created valuable opportunities for alumni to reconnect, share insights and build new relationships.

Strong engagement throughout the events reflected the energy and global reach of the Leeds University Business School alumni community, with thoughtful discussions on leadership, growth and the evolving role of Indian businesses.

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate two outstanding members of our alumni community recognised at the 2026 NISAU Achievers Honours.

Niti Paul (MBA, 2011) was named Winner of the Business and Enterprise category.

Sorav Jain (MSc International Marketing Management, 2003) was recognised as a Finalist.

Organised by the National Indian Students and Alumni Union, the awards celebrate Indian alumni of UK institutions who are shaping industries and driving global impact.

Niti and Sorav were celebrated at the NISAU Grand Gala Ceremony on 26 February 2026.

Congratulations to them both on this fantastic achievement!
