The Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme is now open for applications until 2nd April 2015 and you can find out more by coming to one of our Taster Days!

If you have a new social enterprise or community project, we want to hear from you. Lloyds Bank Social Entrepreneurs Programme is looking for 250 start-ups to support.

All successful applicants will be given a place on an inspirational start-up course, be matched with a business mentor and receive a £4,000 grant.

Enterprise Scholarships

Are you an entrepreneur if so undergraduate Enterprise Scholarships are available which are worth £3,000 and we have a minimum of 15 to give away.

Successful applicants can expect the following:

• £3,000 to help develop enterprise opportunities
• £1,000 of that use to pay for your training and development
• access to a range of business mentors
• an academic mentor and access to professional network

Come along to The Enterprise Society's first event meet like minded students, see what we have planned for the rest of the year and hear the experiences of our guest entrepreneur Michelle Whaite.

Michelle has a vast amount of experience in Leadership training and has now started her own business running various courses and programs. She will be giving a sample of her leadership training including her 5 sentence formula to nailing the elevator pitch.

The events will take place on Thursday 16th October 5:00-6:30 in Baines Wing SR 3.06. One of our committee members will be waiting outside the union at 4:50 for those who are unsure how to find the venue.
