Hope you have all been well and almost done with exams. At the moment we don't have any organised trips for June and July, however, this doesn't mean that we won't be having any. Please keep checking our page.

Straight to Bowness-on-Windermere.
10.30, Approximate arrival time to Bowness-on-Windemere. Upon arrival, you will be given a short introduction about the Ferry services that operate on Windermere Lake, then you will dropped at the Visitor Information. You will have free time until 5 PM. You can take one of the 3 ferries that operate on the Lake, go for walks around the lake, visit the town and Beatrix Potter Museum.

You will be dropped off and picked up at the Coach Park, where the Visitor Information and the ferries are located.

17.00, Departure from Bowness-on-Windermere, you will be driven to the supermarket, incase any of you wishes to cook for the evening. Otherwise there are few places where you can go out for dinner. Social in the evening in a local pub.

You will be staying at Lake District Backpackers, which has a self-catering kitchen and most importantly free WIFI ☺.

09.00, Departure from the hostel, straight to Grasmere, where you can visit the town, go for walks around Rydal Lake, stop by the Fairy’s Café, visit the Dove Cottage & William Wordsworth Trust and most importantly buy your world famous Sarah Nelson’s Gingerbread, which opens at 12.30.

13.00, Grasmere departure time, from the Coach park, which will be also the place where you will be dropped off. After Grasmere you will be heading to Keswick for a lunch break, where you will find more options.

14.30, Departure from Keswick, straight to Aira Force for your waterfall walk.

16.30, Departure from Aira Force/Lake District. Approximate arrival time to Leicester will be around 8.30 PM.
