Today marks the 75th anniversary of the signing by 50 nations of the United Nations charter.
The signing came at the end of a conference in San Francisco in 1945 after the horrors of World War Two and was designed to make the world a better place.
In the midst of a global pandemic, the aim of nations helping each other solve shared problems was never more true.
