Why Choose PCS? 💜 How do you know a course is making a real difference?

For one of our lecturers, Dr Simon Wheeler, it’s when students confidently discuss complex topics they’ve never encountered before - like ligand docking 🧬

Watching students develop the knowledge, confidence and scientific thinking needed to understand advanced concepts is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. It’s a reminder that learning isn’t just about memorising facts - it’s about building the skills to tackle new challenges and think like a scientist 🧑‍🔬

On PCS, our students progress from learning the fundamentals in first year to exploring cutting-edge topics in their final year, developing the confidence and expertise needed for careers in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries.

Watch to hear why seeing that transformation is proof that the course works! 🧪✨

🎓✨ That’s a wrap, Class of 2026! ✨🎓

The day was spent showcasing the incredible research projects our students have been working on through their poster presentations, highlighting the breadth of pharmaceutical and cosmetic science explored across the course 🧪💄💊

Of course, no celebration would be complete without pizza, awards for the best posters, and plenty of group photos to capture the memories 📸🍕

From first-year practicals to final-year research projects, it has been amazing to see how much everyone has grown throughout their time on PCS.

Congratulations to all of our graduating students - we’re so proud of everything you’ve achieved and can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you 💜
