East Sussex College International Welcome to the East Sussex International College, where you can study English Language and academic courses.

Sussex Downs International College is a UK Government College with accreditation from the British Council for our English language courses, based on the South Coast of England with two campuses in Lewes and Eastbourne. We also offer academic courses (A levels) and a variety of vocational and university level courses. Our College prides itself by its quality:

🌍 We’re proud to have been named a finalist in the StudyTravel Secondary School Awards 2026!

Following the recent ceremony in London, East Sussex College was recognised in the European School category at this prestigious international awards.

While we didn’t take home the top prize this time, this is still a fantastic achievement - particularly as we were the only further education college shortlisted, alongside boarding, private and international schools.

This recognition highlights our growing reputation in international education and our commitment to delivering high-quality experiences for students from around the world.

Katie Wingfield, Senior International Officer, said: “We’re incredibly proud to have been recognised as a finalist alongside such well-established international and independent schools. It’s a real testament to the hard work of our staff and the success of our international students.”
