Thinking about a career change? Well, that’s exactly what NWRC student Niamh did!

Niamh works as a teacher but decided to take a different path, starting by studying Level 2 part time hairdressing and progressing to the Level 3 course.

The part time course allowed her to continue her current work commitments whilst training for something new, and in just a few weeks she will be a fully qualified in Level 3 hairdressing!

Ella is another shining example of how our courses put students on to a career pathway🦷

She studied Dental Nursing at our Strabane campus and since qualifying in 2024 has gained a full-time position in Ebrington Dental, who have provided her with further progression opportunities including studying a Postgraduate in Radiography.

🇮🇹 💅💄✂️Hair & Beauty Students Begin Italian Experience....

Hair & Beauty students from Strand Road & Limavady Campuses accompanied by tutor Catherine Keenan, are embarking on an exciting international opportunity in Pescara, Italy as part of the TURING Scheme Academic and Cultural Enrichment Programme. 🇮🇹

Throughout the programme, students will participate in curriculum-specific training, industry visits, innovation and entrepreneurship activities, alongside cultural experiences and Italian language learning.

This fantastic experience will support students in developing new skills, building confidence and enhancing their understanding of the global Hair & Beauty industry, while creating lasting memories along the way. 🌟

We wish Catherine and the students a wonderful and successful trip!
