🎓 GCSE RESULTS DAY — YOUR FUTURE. YOUR WAY.
Today is a big day. Whatever your results, you should be proud of yourself for getting here. 💚

🌟 Got the results you hoped for?
Amazing! Celebrate your success, enjoy the moment and take that next step towards the future you want.

💛 Didn't get the results you were hoping for?
Please don't think your future has been decided today. There isn't just one route to success. Sometimes the path changes — and that's okay. There are still opportunities to learn, develop your skills, discover what you're good at and find a future that works for you.

At Greenbank College, we're here to help you explore your options and work out what comes next.

Your results are part of your story — they don't define your future.
📩 If you're unsure about your next step, get in touch with Greenbank. We'd love to help.

Real Skills. Real Futures. 💚

👉 Career Insight Day - Friday July 3rd

👉 Sony Interactive Entertainment

👉 We were delighted to welcome Ian and Ste last week to deliver an amazing session of industry insights to our ICT students.

👉 In their capacity as trainers in the Cert Ops division of Sony in Liverpool, they talked about the structure of Sony and what happens in the Liverpool office in terms of game testing and the skills required to do that job.

👉 They also talked about routes into the gaming industry and the multitude of human-centric job roles available: producer, voice actor, composer, motion capture artist, concept artist, writer, hardware engineer, localisation specialist, audio engineer, etc.

👉 We particularly enjoyed hearing what young people can do to get into the right mind and skillset for the gaming industry, from taking part in game jams to building board games, from sharing their ideas and animations in online forums to upgrading their hardware to a single-board computer (£30 - Raspberry Pi) and building a game.

🙏 Massive thanks to Ian and Ste for being so generous with their time and for Liverpool City Region Careers Hub for having the foresight to create the programme several years ago.

👉 Time to celebrate! 🏆

👉 Last week was all about celebrating the achievements of our supported interns and reflecting on the massive distance they have travelled since starting the programme last year.

👉 It was also about thanking and recognising the tireless commitment and support of our amazing tutors, job coaches, employers, mentors and partners. Without them, this pathway to employment would not be possible.

29/06/2026

👉Being a supported intern isn't all about work, work, work. They also have fun and explore our vibrant city from time to time.

👉Last week, our tutor Kim took the interns out on the famous Mersey Ferries to experience the beautiful skyline and three graces from afar.

👉It was also a chance for our interns to have a break and reflect on their amazing achievements this year.
