Recently, our A and S Group Science and Engineering students visited the University of Liverpool Engineering Department 🏎️💫!

🎉 Huge congratulations to Ahmed Aljohani from J group! 🎓✨ We're thrilled to celebrate his amazing achievement of finishing his studies at UoLIC with a distinction grade! 🏆👏

To honour his hard work and dedication, Ahmed received both a sponsored student award and the Module Coordinator award for People, Culture and Society.

Upon returning home, he had the incredible opportunity to share his journey at a student success panel event in Riyadh, presenting in front of Kaplan Partners and Linda Cowan, Managing Director for Kaplan International Pathways UK. Ahmed spoke with such passion about his time at college, and we couldn't be prouder to have been a part of his journey! 🙌❤️

It's been truly inspiring to watch him grow in confidence and achieve remarkable things. Well done, Ahmed! We can't wait to see what you accomplish next! 🌟

🌟 Tell us a little about yourself. 🌟
I am Asya, and 21 years old. My main interests are the arts, especially music. I graduated from a Fine Arts High School, where I studied music, sang opera, and received vocal and theatre training. I also learned piano, classical guitar, and played the violin in my younger years, along with practicing gymnastics and ballet. 🎶✨

⭐ Why did you choose UOLIC? ⭐
My dream university was the University of Liverpool, and before starting my degree, I wanted to improve my English fluency. Kaplan offered a foundation programme; I am glad I enrolled because I believe they provide excellent English language education

✨ What are your favorite part of studying here? ✨
Liverpool is that it is a safe city with a large student population. It's a lively and welcoming place, with friendly people. My favourite thing about Liverpool is its waterfront and its strong connection to art and culture.

💫 How has studying in Liverpool helped you grow?💫
Studying in Liverpool has greatly enhanced my personal development and my English skills. Daily interaction with English speakers has boosted my confidence and fluency, helping me communicate more effectively.

🏆What achievement are you most proud of during your studies?🏆
I am most proud of taking the opportunity to study in a country outside my own and beyond my comfort zone. I am proud of learning to stand on my own feet and working hard on both my education and personal life. Seeing myself grow daily, both academically and personally, is one of my greatest achievements.

💡What advice would you give to future international students?💡
If you want to become fluent in English, Liverpool is an excellent choice. It offers daily opportunities to practice English. Liverpool is a fantastic place to study if you enjoy art, culture, and vibrant student life! 🎨
