Join us at 1900 on Thursday the 8th of February in the Harold Wilson Room, Liverpool Guild of Students, where Dr Gregory Smith will be giving LWMS a talk on his experiences in Motorsport trauma care and Road Traffic Collisions; providing aeromedical care with the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS) Cymru; multi-agency working and applying for PHEM training!

Dr Gregory Smith is a trainee in the Acute Care Common Stem (ACCS) programme, specialising in Emergency Medicine at Aintree. Dr Smith also works with the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS) Cymru alongside his training at Aintree, providing helicopter-based Pre-Hospital Emergency Care in North Wales.

Tickets for the wilderness christmas dinner are going to be released at 8am tomorrow morning (26/11/23) with limited spaces so book quickly! Tickets can be booked on the guild website from tomorrow onwards and cost £15 for three courses. They are free to reserve then payment will be directly to the venue when you make your food order on the Google form attached to your ticket.

"I have loved joining wilderness medicine to meet like-minded people and learn about the endless opportunities medicine can bring. Favourite wilderness memory - search and rescue at night in the rain to find a simulated casualty covered in “vomit” (tinned soup)!"
