Our annual graduation ceremony is the highlight of our college year in celebrating the success of our higher education students. The ceremony takes place on Saturday 31 October this year.

✏️ Smart Play carried out a fantastic story telling session to a number of groups within the Childhood Practice Team including the NPA Social Service Children and Young People schools group last week.

📖 Alison Small, author of the book 'Crumpet and Flapjack', delivered a wonderful interactive session supported by Jenny, Calum and Maria.

The students were engaged throughout and left feeling enthusiastic and excited about the following week when they will follow up their learning and take these experiences into practice with visiting children from the Grange Nursery.

💼 | We had a great time yesterday morning hosting local businesses in our Terrace Restaurant to talk about the new Flexible Workforce Development Fund and other funding opportunities to support people into employment and upskill those in employment.

Our employer engagement team made some great connections and helped raise awareness around the support available for businesses and the public to develop careers and build our workforce.

🐶 And the visit from the Kids Gone Wild therapets-in-training was a bonus too!
