The Summit 2026 💗

Our COPA team came together at Chester Racecourse to catch up, celebrate our milestones and, most importantly, raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Now.

We wore pink with pride and raised an incredible £2,750! 🎉

We couldn’t have done it without the generosity of our partners and supporters, who kindly donated wonderful gifts and experience days to help us raise this fantastic total.

A great night at the UK Active Awards! 🏆

It was lovely to enjoy great food, catch up with so many of our partners and reconnect with old colleagues.

Bringing AI learning to life, with a little help from Frankie the Frenchie! 🐶

This AI-generated video features Frankie, our tutor Tudor Britton’s dog, and was created using a carefully crafted prompt, offering a playful glimpse into the tools and techniques apprentices explored during COPA’s Introduction to AI masterclass 🔥

Led by Tudor, the session combined hands-on activities with real case studies to explore AI and automation, how they’ve developed and what successful implementation looks like. Apprentices also examined examples where things went wrong, helping them understand the risks, the importance of responsible use and what information can safely be shared with AI tools 💡

One of the biggest talking points was discovering just how much AI we already use throughout the day, often without realising it!

Covering a different topic each month, with two opportunities to attend each session, our interactive masterclasses help apprentices build the knowledge, practical skills and confidence to use AI responsibly in their roles 🚀

COPA may be best known for developing talent in Active Leisure, but we bring that same commitment to AI and automation training, helping employers equip their teams for a changing workplace.
