Attic Inscriptions Online

The Editors of Attic Inscriptions Online, a resource translating ancient Athenian inscriptions, seeks teacher feedback on its educational resources, which are here: https://www.atticinscriptions.com/education/

These reoursces were launched in 2021 and address the UK educational syllabus at primary school Key Stages 1 and 2 (6-11 years), secondary school Key Stage 3 (12-14 years) and the more specialist studies available in schools and Further Education institutions which offer Classical Civilisation or Ancient History at Key Stages 4 (= GCSE, 15-16 years) and 5 (= A-level, 17-18 years).

We are keen to revise and refresh our offerings, and would like to know what would be useful and how we can support teachers and learners with inscriptions-based resources!

Designed specifically for Classics educators, this online CPD series, led by Emily Rushton, provides practical, evidence-based strategies to create neuroinclusive Classical Subjects classrooms. Across six targeted sessions, you will explore how to adapt Key Stage curricula, design accessible educational trips, and tailor instruction for students with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and working memory differences. From adjusting day-to-day Latin and Classical Civilisation pedagogy to exploring myth through a neurodiverse lens, this course empowers teachers to remove learning barriers and ensure every student can thrive in Classics.

Next year's Conference will be held in London at the University of Notre Dame from 9-11 April. Everyone is encouraged to take part and we welcome proposals across our wide range of themes, with an academic or pedagogic focus alike.
