Roles and job description:
Chair (x1): Represents the club on the management group board; ensures the club is run according to ICU’s Code of Conduct; oversees the entire club.
Treasurer (x1): Carries out day to day financial duties of the club.
Secretary (x1): Keeps club records in order; carries out club communication duties; responsible for the mailing list.
Events Officer (x1): Ensures a variety of events are run by liaising with other officers; responsible for venue bookings.
Web and Publicity Officer (x1): Creates all publicity content, including but not limited to social media posts, posters, and events materials; manages all social media accounts.
Welfare Officer (x1): First point of contact for any welfare concerns within the club; organises events and campaigns focusing on the mental health of LGBTQ+ individuals.
Postgraduate Officer (x1): Represents the needs of members of the club carrying out postgraduate study; organises and runs events for these individuals.
Campaigns and Union Liason Officer (x1): Liaises with the Union LGBTQ+ network; supports current LGBTQ+ campaigns at Imperial.
Sexuality Inclusivity Officer (x1): Represents the needs of members of the club whose sexual orientation does not fall into the binary classification of attraction to either the opposite or same gender; organises and runs events for these individuals.
Trans and Gender Inclusivity Officer (x1): Represents the needs of members of the club whose gender identity/expression falls outside gender binary tradition and cisnormativity; organises and runs events for these individuals.
QPOC Officer (x1): Represents the needs of QPOC (Q***r People of Colour) members of the club; organises and runs events for these individuals.
Women’s Officer (x1): Represents the needs of self-identifying female members of the club; organises and runs events for these individuals.
General Committee (x3): Supports the rest of the committee in their roles and running of the club.
