Do you have a child in year 8? Do you want to see how your emotional intelligence and the perceived emotional intelligence of your child affect their academic performance?
We are looking for volunteers to take part in a research study on how parental emotional intelligence and a child’s perceived emotional intelligence affect children’s academic performance
This research forms part of an MSc Psychological Sciences degree at Brunel University London and involves completing an online questionnaire that will take no longer than 20 minutes regarding how parental emotional intelligence and a child’s perceived emotional intelligence affect children’s academic performance.
This study has been approved by the Department of Life Sciences Research Ethics Committee and will take place between June the 13th 2022 and September the 8th 2022. Please note that data collection will end by 18th July 2022.
Your participation in this research is entirely voluntary, anonymous, and confidential and you can withdraw at any point without having to give a reason.
