Starting Summer School can feel a little daunting – there are so many new experiences, people, and places waiting for you.

To help settle those first-day nerves, we asked some of our Session 1 students to share the advice they wish they’d known before arriving. From making the most of every opportunity to stepping outside your comfort zone and meeting new people, their tips are worth hearing. 💙

And just like that, Session 1 of Summer School 2026 is coming to an end!

What an incredible few weeks it’s been – filled with new friendships, unforgettable experiences, academic achievements, and memories that will last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to all of our Session 1 students for making this summer so special. We can’t wait to see what comes next for each of you!

One thing people don’t always expect about our Summer School programme is that, alongside an intensive academic schedule, there’s still plenty of time to experience London!

That’s why we organise a packed social programme: with everything from West End shows like The Lion King and SIX to day trips beyond the city. There’s always something to get involved in.

Session 2 students: tickets for Hadestown and Mamma Mia! are still available, and bookings for SIX and The Lion King open this week. Secure your tickets through the Offer Holder Hub.
