On Friday, Community officially launched the Supporting Her Together campaign, which is encouraging employers to implement better workplace policies around menstrual and fertility health.

To better understand the experiences of our members we conducted a survey and the findings showed substantial gaps in workplace policy, training, and support for women who experience reproductive health issues.

📈Almost 70% of respondents said they had experienced severe pain and discomfort at work relating to menstrual health issues.

📈84% said they think their workplace should have a menstruation friendly policy.

Every woman deserves respect, understanding, and rights when it comes to reproductive health.

For far too long, conditions like endometriosis, severe menstrual pain, fertility treatments and menopause have been treated as taboo, especially in the workplace. It’s time for a change.

Today, we are proud to launch our new national campaign, Supporting Her Together where we’re calling for:

🩺 Better recognition of women’s reproductive health conditions

✊ Stronger workplace rights and policies

📢 An end to stigma that leaves women suffering in silence

Reproductive health is health. When we support women, our workplaces, communities and economy thrive.
