Tomorrow:

We have a really exciting employability event coming up! You are invited to join us for ‘Becoming a Successful Probation Officer – Tips from a Greenwich Criminology Alumni’, happening on 6 July 2021 at 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm on Microsoft Teams. This event is FREE of charge.

We are very pleased to have Fatima Choudhury share her experience in becoming a Probation Officer in London after graduating from the University of Greenwich with a BSc and MSc in Criminology and Criminal Psychology. After graduating, she worked in the Administration Office of the School of Law and Criminology for a few months, and then she joined the National Probation Service. After a year and a half on the role, she received a promotion and became the Lead of Integrated Offender Management for a borough of London.

In the first part of the event, Fatima will talk about her experience and provide very meaningful and insightful tips. In the second part, we will have a Q&A where she will be happy to answer all your questions.

Please book your FREE ticket here: https://www.greenwichsu.co.uk/events/6781/7460/ . You will receive joining instructions closer to the event.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

We hope you are as excited for this as we are!

Looking forward to seeing you at the event!

Hi everyone! I hope you are well!
Our Criminology Society election is now live! If you would like to become a member of the committee for the academic year 2020/ 2021, now you have a chance to nominate yourself! The roles available are: President, Vice-President, Social Secretary and Treasurer. Head over to https://www.greenwichsu.co.uk/societies/criminology/ in order to do that! Nominations are open until Thursday, and after that the voting will open. In order to be able to nominate yourself and/ or vote in the elction, you need to first "purchase" a society membership, which is now FREE. We made the membership free so that all students who are interested can become members and nominate themselves and vote in the election.
I am looking forward to seeing how many of you (hopefully many many) will participate! :)

We aim to provide opportunities to get involved in Criminology related events and meet like-minded people with the same interests as you. We are looking to organise a variety of events including meet ups, trips, quizzes and lots more. We will also give you support if needed and a way to interact wit...
