Co-founded by Doreen Uzice and Dympna O'Brien, we at Quantum Metta love massage and essential oils, and have been blown away by how powerful and effective they are. The student's journey is a journey of development, a journey of health, touch and joy. They get to make a difference in their own lives and in the lives of everyone they touch. Quantum refers to ‘energy’ - pockets of energy - and all life is energy, seen and unseen. Metta means ‘loving kindness’ and sums up a lot of things we believe in and want to manifest through who we are and the work we do. To be kind and loving in our intentions and in our actions is a way of making a contribution and difference in our world. Gandhi said, “Be the change you seek in the world.” We aim to hold ourselves to that standard. What's great is that we all get to choose who we're going to be every day. We wholeheartedly recommend choosing to make positive connections with others… give a massage or a hug, smile, have fun, make someone's day, show support, share time and skills and gifts, look for the best in yourself and others… be creative! We’ve noticed that the more you do it, the better you feel… and what's more, it's catching. It seems to be the case that you get what you focus on. The energy moves outwards in ever increasing circles… and others join in.
