“The Death of Misogyny” powerful piece by Katanu Kay Sanna / Tanu / Kai

Words from the artist:

It is a piece about love and fear, reawakening and questioning, vulnerability and protection. It’s about the things we inherit, the things we unlearn, and the parts of ourselves we rediscover during that whole process.

The more I worked on this piece, the more I realised there may never be just one way to understand it, and perhaps that’s the point.

🌸Limited prints are available ✨ Link in bio🌸

With Instagram changing, we’ve been thinking about how to better support our community of artists.

From now on, we’ll be using the collaborator feature a lot more. If you’ve got dope work, add Dope Black Art ® as a collaborator on your post and we’ll accept pieces that speak to us. If it doesn’t go up straight away, it may still appear later, as we keep the page curated and varied.

Original content, events, a shop and more are all on the way. For now, keep sharing your work with us.

Much love! Seb 🤎

Big love to the team for with their first-ever festive TV ad, now live on Channel 4! A beautiful celebration of natural hair, representation, and confidence, featuring an incredible lineup of Black women redefining beauty on screen. 🔥🔥

The goal? To normalise natural hair and continue to disrupt the standard, and they did just that.

Ft. , , and the brilliant
Big up the partner brands who made it happen: .

A milestone moment for culture and creativity.
