Proclamation Trust

Proclamation Trust Since 1986, The Proclamation Trust has existed to encourage ministry that seeks above all to teach the Bible as God's Word relevant for today.

To this end we seek both to equip and to encourage Bible teachers.

Are there any exams on our courses?

It’s a question we’re often asked—and the simple answer is no. None of our courses include exams.

Instead, we want to help you grow in handling God’s word in a way that is thoughtful, practical, and rooted in real ministry.

At the heart of this is the teaching practice group, which sits at the centre of all our courses. In these sessions, you’ll give short talks, listen to others, and learn together. It’s a space where you can develop, be stretched, and be supported as you go.

Over the course of the year, you’ll give a minimum of six talks across a range of biblical genres. As you do, you’ll grow in your understanding of Scripture and sharpen your preaching and teaching of the Bible so that you can make Jesus known to others.

There's something unique about being a ministry wife. The pressures, the joys, the juggle — not everyone understands it.

But walk into Recharge for Ministry Wives and you'll find a room full of women who do. 🤗

"I have made really good friends, who are in the same context as me, who get what it is — that unique role of being a ministry wife. Some years I need supporting and other years I can support others." Clare Heath-Whyte

Come and join a network of women who understand.

Ministry life is full. A church to serve. A household to run. And somewhere in the middle of all of it — you.

Rachel Paine has been a ministry wife for over 30 years. And every year she comes to the Wives conference and finds the same thing — women who truly understand.

"Everybody knows the unique pressures of it. You don't have to pretend. You can actually be really honest, because they really get it."

And it's not all heavy either. "You can laugh together about things as well. Some of them are quite ridiculous things. It's brilliant."

We've listened — and deposits are back. 🎉

We know that paying full price for a conference months in advance isn't always straightforward — whether you're planning around church finances, a busy household, or simply need a little more time.

So we're reintroducing the deposit option across all PT residential conferences. Secure your place with a smaller amount upfront, and pay the balance later.

It's our way of making it as easy as possible for you to say yes.

Conferences 2027 🧡

Come and join us for one of our residential conferences.

If you’re involved in Word ministry, our Men in Ministry and Women in Ministry conferences are designed to help you stay sharp and well-tuned. You’ll spend time in God’s Word, be refreshed by it, fellowship with like-minded people and leave with the groundwork laid for a future teaching series.

If you are the wife of someone in paid Bible teaching ministry—whether in a local church, school, or theological college—Recharge is for you. It’s a space to be cared for and served, where you can step away from everyday responsibilities and simply sit under God’s Word and fellowship with other wives.

Our hope, across all three conferences, is simple: that you would be refreshed by Jesus and strengthened for whatever role you play in serving the kingdom of God.

Ronald Wilcox is not a name many will recognise—and he would likely have preferred it that way.

Yet God used him, along with others, in the early days of the Proclamation Trust. Through his and the generosity of others, it gave us the resources to enable the Trust to begin.

We’re grateful to the Lord for Ronald Wilcox, and to many others like him, for the part they have played in multiplying Word ministry so that the gospel go out.
