Fashion Retail Academy We are home of Fashion's Next Generation. The Fashion Retail Academy, recently awarded Ofsted outstanding, is the quickest route to a career in fashion retail.

We offer one or two year fast track Degree and Degree courses across a range of head office roles including Buying, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Digital, Merchandising and Retail Management. Our Degree courses include a three work placement with a major high street label, industry mentoring and guaranteed interview for graduating students. Delivered over two years instead of three, you will also save time and cost whilst gaining invaluable on the job experience. Supported by and working closely with over 130 fashion brands, most of our diploma courses include work placements, industry led projects and masterclasses as standard and a multitude of additional course specific opportunities driven by our industry experienced tutors. You can be fully trained, complete with on the job experience in as little as a year. Our success speaks for itself. 92% of our graduates go on to industry job roles or continue their studies. Championing sustainable design since 2008, Christopher is known for transforming surplus materials into innovative designs.

Happy World Teachers Day! đź’«

We would like to thank all the amazing teachers here at the FRA, who work incredibly hard to ensure our students receive the best education and who often go above and beyond to support them.

Here are a few of our fantastic teachers in action! Ryan, Lorraine, Hayley, Diana and Nadia have all been part of the FRA for many years, and we’re so grateful for their continued dedication and commitment to our students.

Back in May, challenged our students to develop a new product strategy for SS27.

The project launched at the FRA, before students visited Boden HQ in June for an insightful session on product strategy and the process behind developing one.

Over the following 11 weeks, students developed their proposals, with four shortlisted to present their strategies to Boden’s buying team. Their ideas explored key areas including sourcing, sustainability, design and marketing.

A huge thank you to Belinda Dilley and Tara Strachan for leading the project and sharing their time and expertise. Congratulations to all four students on their fantastic ideas!

Cerys Roberts, Assistant Brand Marketing Manager at M&S, recently hosted a masterclass with our Year 1 Marketing & Communications students.
 
Cerys gave our students an insight into what it’s like to work in marketing within the fashion industry, sharing her career journey and the steps she took to get to where she is today.
 
Putting their creativity into practice, students were challenged to develop a marketing idea for one of their favourite brands before presenting their concepts to the group.
 
A huge thank you to Cerys for sharing her experience and creating such a fun, engaging and inspiring workshop!
