We were extremely pleased to receive 3rd in class with Jezebel at HCVS’ London to Brighton run last weekend, despite a clutch failure en route! Thanks to the tireless efforts of the passengers and minivan support vehicle, we were able to get her back on the road and although we missed the show in Brighton, we still made our dinner reservation!

On our way back from the Isle of Wight we also had the chance to meet up with . From Portsmouth, we set off along Portsdown Hill past Chichester over to Midhurst where we parted ways and set off back up to London. It’s always great to see our Dennis sibling and the only other vintage vehicle university society we’re aware of! Thanks so much to the Toastrack society for giving us all a ride, and here’s to more meet-ups soon!

Another August bank holiday meant another Isle of Wight Steam Fair! A week ago we had the pleasure of visiting the Island for the weekend with and . Although a hosepipe ban meant no pumping this year, it was made up for by the stunning weather. A huge thank you to as always for having us and for organising such a wonderful event! We’re already counting down the days until next year.

If you couldn’t catch us last weekend, we’ll be heading to Bedfordshire Steam and Country Fayre from the 12th-14th September where as usual, we’ll be using my pump to help fill various steamers’ with water. In the mean time I’m back in the garage for some TLC!

I'm out at Harlington Sports ground having given a lift to the athletes for today's Sparks and Semmence Cups.

It's been a long week of welding and repairs for my differential torque reaction arm. Thanks to all our Alumni and Students who helped get me back on the road!
