🏛️ ESCP’s London Campus expands its teaching spaces and Student Wing, adding more than 100 new study seats as part of its 10-year estate masterplan.

As our student community continues to grow, we are investing in learning environments that bring people together while preserving the heritage of our historic campuses.

Last week, we officially inaugurated the expanded Student Wing and a new study floor at ESCP in London, creating more than 100 additional seats for students to study, connect and collaborate.

Internally known as Space Mountain, the project transforms previously unused attic space and refurbishes the second floor, combining contemporary study facilities with the building’s Victorian architectural character 🏗️

The new spaces include quiet individual study areas, group meeting rooms and a lounge designed to support student activities and collaborative projects.

Prof. Marie Taillard, Dean of ESCP’s UK Campus, and the London team welcomed Mustafa Soykurt, Consul General of France in the United Kingdom, alongside Philippe Houzé, Chairman of the ESCP Board of Directors; Lord David Gold, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for ESCP in London; and Prof. Thomas Jeanjean, Dean and Executive President of ESCP.

💬 “With communication, collaboration, empathy and creative skills playing an increasing role among the leadership skills we want our students to develop, it became evident that we needed more space for them to come together throughout the day,” says Prof. Marie Taillard, Dean of ESCP’s UK Campus.

This milestone reflects the remarkable growth of our London student community, from 250 full-time students in 2004 to 1,350 in 2026, with approximately 1,600 expected by 2031.

As part of our 10-year London estate masterplan and &United strategy, this development contributes to our wider commitment to continuing to develop our presence in the United Kingdom, modernising our European campuses, adapting existing spaces and creating environments that support new ways of learning and collaborating. ✨

Together, we continue to build on our heritage while creating more opportunities for our community to thrive.

ESCP shortlisted in three categories at the 2026 Independent Higher Education Awards 🏆

The shortlists recognise our continued commitment to developing innovative approaches to education, supporting students and graduates across borders, and creating meaningful impact through its community, partnerships and wider engagement.



Our nomination recognises our work exploring how AI and digital technologies can enhance teaching, assessment and personalised learning, while keeping academic integrity, critical thinking and human oversight at the centre.



Through our six European campuses in Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris, Turin and Warsaw, we offer students an international learning experience enriched by company projects, internships and cross-cultural collaboration, preparing them to navigate diverse business environments.



Our commitment to positive change extends beyond the classroom. Through initiatives such as the Social Impact Festival, the Blue Factory start-up incubator and collaborations with local organisations, our community connects education with real-world challenges.

⚽️🤾‍♀️ It’s your ESCP London Sports Report! 💃🎾

🏀 ESCP Men’s Basketball enjoyed a hard-fought 84-74 win over London Southbank in their first game of the London Universities Sports Leagues.
In an excellent team performance, Francesco Lella broke out with a monster double double, 28 points and 11 rebounds. Gabriele Buso’s playmaking was also a key factor in the win and he chimed in with 18 points and 9 rebounds, whilst Gabin Castegnaro led the defence, locking down LSBU: London South Bank University's main ball handler. ESCP’s London team will hope to continue their good start in their next match away v London Metropolitan University on Saturday.

🎾 The Tennis Club also got off to an excellent start defeating Brunel University of London 4-1. The team (Maxime Marcovici, Noam Yiflach, Shaylin Lopez-Bassols, Chloe Certain, Sarah Oualid and Gaston Favre) won a total of 48 games, allowing Brunel a total of only 18 games across the 5 matches. The next challenge is The London School of Economics and Political Science - LSE away on Saturday. Social Tennis event set for Sunday 8th November - details coming soon!

🕺🏿The Dance Society wants to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined their launch session at Fusion Students Brent Cross! The turnout and energy were incredible, and Kevin’s Hip Hop choreo set the perfect vibe for the semester.

🏃🏽‍♀️The Running Club enjoyed their collab with EBS Society London over the weekend, and worked up their thirst with a solid run before socialising over a drink or 3. Wednesday’s weekly Run continues with the offer of a burger & pint for £15 for those interested. Soft drinks are also available!

⚽ Interested in being a part of ESCP’s Women’s Football team for 5-a-side matches and the Intercampus Games? Or just want to meet other students, have fun, develop skills and be active? ESCP's participation in the Help to Grow scheme expands the School’s support for small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. The School is now accepting applications from eligible SME leaders who look to strengthen their business strategy, win new customers, get more from their teams and build a clear plan for growth.

Part of ESCP's wider commitment under its Small Business Charter accreditation, the programme will deepen the School’s engagement with UK SMEs as business leaders place greater emphasis on upskilling talent. KPMG UK’s latest Private Enterprise Barometer found that 37% of business leaders now prioritise skills and capability development, up 25% in just six months, as they look to harness technologies such as AI and drive growth.

For Silvia Masoero, an international career began with the decision to step outside her comfort zone and pursue opportunities across borders.

After studying ESCP’s Master in Management (MiM) in Turin and Paris and gaining professional experience with Reckitt in London and L'Oréal Paris in Paris, Silvia joined Amazon.com soon after graduation in 2019. Today, she is Senior Vendor Manager for UK Books at Amazon.co.uk in London, where she works with some of the world’s largest publishers.

As part of our Careers Without Borders series, we spoke to Silvia about the experiences and connections that helped shape her career, including how studying and working across different countries and cultures influences her approach to business today, and what she has learned from building an international career in London.

How can a business school build bridges between the public and private sectors?

By bringing together economics, business, law and public policy to help future leaders understand how markets, governments and organisations influence one another.

With this ambition in mind, ESCP London Campus welcomed the first cohort of its MSC in Economics & Policy for Business (MEP), with 22 ambitious students representing 10 nationalities joining the programme.

The MEP’s first cohort represents a new generation of business people and policy-makers who will make their mark in an increasingly unpredictable economic and geopolitical landscape. In the future, the programme will become a pillar of the new ESCP School of Governance.

"I was looking for a programme that would help me bridge the gap between law, economics and public policy,” says MEP student, Raïssa Papa. "As a legal counsel, I wanted to develop a stronger understanding of the economic reasoning behind policy choices and how businesses can engage constructively with policymakers."

That connection is at the heart of MEP and makes the programme such a strong fit for ESCP, whose London Campus benefits from its location in a global hub for business, finance, government, regulation and international affairs. The Campus gives students the opportunity to learn in an environment where policy decisions and business realities are made every day.

“London offers such a strong intersection of business, government, regulation and international affairs. For someone interested in moving from legal practice into policy and advocacy, it felt like the right environment in which to make that transition,” says Raïssa.

For Academic Director Professor Irina Von Wiese, welcoming the first students was a major milestone:

“As Academic Director, I spent nearly two years making this new programme happen. So you can imagine how excited I was to welcome our first cohort of MEP students at ESCP London - the future ambassadors of the new ESCP School of Governance!

“The group has already demonstrated that diversity is strength: coming from across the globe and with very different academic and professional experiences, they excelled in their first lessons. I can't wait to see them go from strength to strength, and wish them all best of luck on their ESCP journey.”

After a full week of classes, the MEP students joined those from ESCP’s MSc in Energy Management and MSc in Digital Transformation Management & Leadership for a Welcome Event in West Hampstead. The night offered the chance to build friendships not only amongst their own class, but across the London Campus’ autumn MSc intake of 112 students. It’s never too early to build a professional network, even if you don’t sit in class together!

And only two weeks in, the programme is already making an impact:

“The MSc has already been intellectually refreshing,” says Raïssa. “I came in with quite a legal way of approaching problems, so being exposed to economic thinking and policy analysis has already challenged me to look at the same issues through a different lens.”
