Eid al-Adha is a reminder of sacrifice, faith, and unwavering devotion 🌙✨

Rooted in the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), it reflects the strength to trust in something greater than ourselves; to choose purpose over comfort, even in moments of uncertainty.

It resonates with the growth that happens only in discomfort. Much like for our medics, dentists, and healthcare scientists, who exist in a constant space of learning, challenge, and at times, instability yet continue to show up with resilience and care.

It reminds us to trust that our pursuit of good health for all will be successful by our efforts, despite all the ways it could go wrong. As inscribed on the archway of St Bartholomew’s Hospital: “Whatever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.” - a call to serve wholeheartedly, with intention and compassion.

Eid is also about giving, sharing with those in need, strengthening community, and ensuring no one is left behind.

Wishing everyone celebrating a blessed and peaceful Eid al-Adha 🤍🐑
