University of Roehampton Roehampton is a friendly, collegiate community where students can live, learn and socialise together on a beautiful and historic London campus.

At Roehampton, we are committed to ensuring that all of our students, regardless of their background, fulfil their potential. They become the kind of graduate that employers value: a confident, critical thinker; adaptable, able to work well with people from all walks of life and with an ongoing passion for learning. We have a proud history in higher education stretching back 175 years through our four Colleges. Our character derives from this rich history, built on community, engagement and partnership. The University, through Whitelands College, has provided higher education to women for longer than any other institution in the country. We support all of our students to reach their full potential, through our diverse and dynamic range of courses. We pride ourselves on providing our students with high levels of contact time with excellent teachers working at the cutting edge of their subject areas. Career skills are central to every one of our degrees, which are designed to help our students become successful graduates.

💼 Looking for a part-time job or volunteering opportunity?

Today, our Student Futures team hosted the Part-time Jobs and Volunteering Fair, bringing Roehampton students together with organisations offering opportunities to gain experience, develop new skills and boost their future employability.

We asked employers what students should look out for when exploring opportunities. 👀 Their advice? Ask questions, look beyond the pay and find out what skills, experience and support you could gain, all while balancing your studies. 📚✨

A big thank you to all the employers and organisations who joined us today! 💚
