Commonwealth University of Sylhet Encouraging Talents To Blossom At present, Bangladesh has a total of 88 universities (34 public and 54 private universities).

Given the limited places available in public universities, many students now receive undergraduate and postgraduate education at private universities. This means that many students go to India, Singapore, Australia, UK, USA, Canada and other foreign countries in the quest for high-quality education. According to the survey, 60% of these students would be more inclined to choose to study in Bangladesh if there was a University offering education of a world-class standard.
