Our Student Content Creators help bring life at University of Staffordshire. They share authentic stories, experiences and moments that give future students a real insight into university life.

As a Student Content Creator, you'll gain paid, real-world experience while developing valuable skills in content creation, digital marketing, storytelling and communication. You'll support campaigns, events, and create content for our social media channels.

We're now recruiting Student Content Creators across our Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford and London campuses.

You don't need thousands of followers or influencer status. We're looking for creative students with personality, fresh ideas and a passion for sharing their university experience.

We’ve been named Daily Mail Modern University of the Year 2027! 🏆

University of Staffordshire has been ranked 38th overall and the highest-ranked modern university in this year’s Daily Mail University Guide.

The award recognises our continued rise in the rankings, strong graduate outcomes and investment in giving our students the skills, experience and support they need to thrive.

From immersive and simulation-based learning across our campuses, to our £100m Student Village and Hub opening next month, we’re continuing to invest in the experience our students have both inside and outside the classroom.

And the results are backing it up: more than three quarters of our graduates go on to high-skilled jobs and graduate salaries place Staffordshire in the top 30 nationally.

Developed by our talented student team as part of the 1UP programme, our paid summer internship scheme, Beacon Bounce is a great example of the exciting projects you can get involved with while you study here.

🎉 We're in the top 10! University of Staffordshire, including our University of Staffordshire London campus, has ranked 7th in the UK for overall student positivity in Higher Education in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2026.

Our overall positivity rate has risen 7.6 percentage points to 89.1% – and we're now outperforming the sector average across all seven NSS themes, including:

- Student voice is our highest ranking theme at 86.4% – ranking us 4th in the UK (and 6.0pp above the sector average)
- Assessment and feedback is now at 89.3%, 7.2pp above average
- Organisation and management rose to 85.4%, 4.7pp above average
- Learning opportunities rose to 89.7%, 4.2pp above average
- Academic support rose to 92.0%, 2.8pp above average
- Teaching on my course rose to 90.5%, 2.7pp above average
- Learning resources rose to 89.9%, 0.9pp above average.

Survey engagement is up too, with completion rates climbing from 71.2% to 77.7% – meaning 3,000 students shared their voice on their course experience this year.

Vice-Chancellor and Chief Executive Professor Philip Plowden said: “To see every single theme improve, and every theme now outperforming the sector, tells us that the changes we've made together are working.”

Pro Vice-Chancellor of Education and Research Professor Raheel Nawaz added: “Every single student interaction... has played a part in getting us here. This is a tremendous achievement and I want to say a personal thank to every single member of our University community.”

This is a university-wide achievement – thank you to every colleague, in every school and every service and our Students' Union colleagues, who put students at the heart of what they do. 👏
