*Is Goldsmiths inclusive?*
Goldsmiths’ has a decolonised curriculum, offering diverse theory modules and eight specialist practice pathways, most taught by lecturers with lived experience and all grounded in our founding values of social justice and inclusion. Dr Louise Chambers, for example, convenes our second‑year theory module “Psychology, Subjectivity and Power.”
*Would you teach anywhere else?*
Many of our students “boomerang” back to Goldsmiths after studying here. Teachers genuinely love the culture and community and don’t want to leave. Ceiren Bell is an MCCS alum who now convenes the Integrated Degree in Media and Communications and teaches animation practice.
*Are we taught by the best of the rest?*
Yes! Your lecturers are theorists who write the books you study and are award‑winning media professionals. Film director Laura Belinky, for example, is co‑convenor of BA Media and Communications.
*Are students active and involved?*
They’re literally making this video – our students are behind the camera, in front of it, and shaping what you see.
*Is it always sunny on the Green?*
College Green is our favourite outdoor spot on campus. It suffers from English weather, but it is always sunny when we take pics – and has deck chairs ;)
