It is all about fishes this week for book of the week. The study of fish remains has much to offer environmental archaeologist, especially those concerned with coastal, riverine and lacustrine sites. Fishes by Alwyne Wheeler and Andrew K.G Jones.

Book of the week: The Archaeology of Beekeeping by Eva Crane. The book deals with human association with bees and honey since the Stone Age. Information gleaned from rock painting a in Spain, from tombs and from temples, indicates that honey was being hunted between 8000 and 2000 BC . An infomative book on bee keeping!
