St Augustine’s Priory is a Catholic independent day school catering for girls aged 2-18 years old and boys in the Nursery. The school is committed to preparing girls for life-long effectiveness as well as examination success. The Prep and Junior School caters for girls, with boys in the Nursery and girls from Prep I (Reception) to Upper II (Year 6). The Senior School caters for girls from Form III

(Year 7) to Upper VI (Year 13).

We have a vibrant and exciting Sixth Form, with a history dating back as far as 1634, the school's priority is to maintain the happiness and progress of every child whilst embodying our school motto, 'Veritas'.

Our pupils leave St Augustine's with resilience, academic success, ethical principles and societal awareness ready for any challenges the future may hold.

✨ A beautiful start to the new school year ✨

Last week, our school community gathered in the Meadow for a wonderful whole-school Mass, celebrated by Fr. Bede and attended by students, staff and parents.

In his homily, Fr. Bede reflected on the importance of knowledge and learning, encouraging our students to value their education and approach the year ahead with curiosity and enthusiasm. 📚✨

Following Mass, Mrs Macallister warmly welcomed all our students back to school, with a particularly special welcome to those joining us for the first time. She encouraged everyone to make the most of the opportunities and experiences that lie ahead.

It was a fitting and uplifting way to begin the new school year, and even some of our farm animals joined in the singing! Beautiful moments like this, truly bring our community together in reflection and celebration. 💙

🐏✨ Success at the Bucks County Show! ✨🐏

We’re delighted to share some exciting news from the farm! Our ram, Bear, was successfully placed in the Primitive Ram category at the Bucks County Show on 27 August - a wonderful achievement and a very proud moment for St Augustine’s Priory. 🎉

It was lovely to see our pupils, Lucy and Ori, there with their families to cheer on Bear and support the rest of our ovine team - Cece, Caramel and Brownie! 🐑🤎

A huge thank you to our Farm Manager, Ms Fraser, for her dedication and expert care of our animals, and to everyone who helped make the day so memorable.

Most importantly, it was fantastic to see our pupils taking such an active interest in the farm and experiencing the excitement of a major agricultural show. Experiences like these bring learning to life and create memories that go far beyond the classroom. 🌱🐑

🎉 GCSE Success for the Class of 2026! 🎉

Congratulations to our Year 11 students! We’re delighted to celebrate an excellent set of GCSE results, with strong performances across the curriculum and some outstanding individual achievements. 👏

🌟 32% of grades at 9–8 (A*)
🌟 54% of grades at 9–7 (A*–A)

These results follow last week’s fantastic A-level results, with 48% of grades at A–A* and 84% at A–B*, a brilliant summer of success for the students, their families and their teachers! 🎓✨
