BCPD Trust BCPD Trust is a UK registered charity based in Luton inspiring young people into Education, Careers, Business and Sports.

We have been working with young people from Luton since 21st February 2011 and is currently focused on below key activities.

• KS2, KS3 and GCSE tuition classes in English and Maths
• Professional Mentoring, Coaching and Works Experience
• Sports and social activities including camping trips
• Professional Seminars and Workshops
• Industry Insight Seminars
• Sports Training and Coaching

BCPD Trust Walking Challenge BCPD Trust a Luton based charity organised a Walking Challenge to encourage young people to take part in physical activities and enjoy an active lifestyle. Walking challenge allows young people and volunteers to challenge themselves and encourages active lifestyles. This is a walking challenge across the Chiltern hills and covers 5-6 miles.
This years event on 16th Aug started from Warden Hills Nature Reserve car park via Lilley and across the countryside covering a scenic route. Our volunteers, tuition class students and other children from Luton were all participating at this event.
The funding was awarded by Luton Council’s Social Justice Unit, through BLCF, as part of the Luton Citizens’ Fund.
The team arrived around 11am and appointed expedition leads to use maps and compass to navigate the route. We managed to complete nearly 6 miles walking across the Chiltern Hills.

BCPD Trust Wall Climbing & Abseiling Challenge BCPD Trust a Luton based charity organised a Wall Climbing & Abseiling Challenge to encourage young people to take part in physical activities and enjoy an active lifestyle. Wall climbing course allows young people and volunteers to challenge themselves and encourages active lifestyles. This challenge is also used to develop and hone life skills including team work, leadership, communications, problem solving, decision making.

This years event on 30th July was held at an outdoor event in Kempston. Our volunteers, tuition class students and other children from Luton were all participating at this event.

The funding was awarded by Luton Council’s Social Justice Unit, through BLCF, as part of the Luton Citizens’ Fund.

The team arrived at the outdoor event around 12pm and had light lunch before starting the activities at 1pm. The aim was to work together as a team and complete all activities and challenges by 4pm.

BCPD Trust Raft building & Kayaking Challenge BCPD Trust a Luton based charity organised a Kayaking & Raft Building Challenge to encourage young people to take part in physical activities and enjoy an active lifestyle. This challenge is also used to develop and hone life skills including team work, leadership, communications, problem solving, decision making.

This years event on 23rd July was held at an outdoor event in Kempston near River Great Ouse. Our volunteers, tuition class students and other children from Luton were all participating at this event.

The funding was awarded by Luton Council’s Social Justice Unit, through BLCF, as part of the Luton Citizens’ Fund.

The team arrived at the outdoor event around 12pm and had light lunch before starting the activities at 1pm. The aim was to work together as a team and complete all activities and challenges by 4pm.

Everyone enjoyed the events thoroughly and at the end many participants jumped in the river and went swimming. Each

BCPD Trust and Purbachal Book Club have launched their 2026 Book Reading Challenge for kids aged 6-18.

The challenge is designed to make reading exciting, help kids get creative over summer, and strengthen their presentation skills.
