New school year, new rhythm for the kids šŸ«¶šŸ»

How about we make this the year you walk your path to find you?

Make a cuppa. Give yourself two minutes.

A quiz built on thousands of years of Ayurvedic wisdom, matched to real, chaotic mum life, waiting to show you your Mum Energy Type, and the breath practice, food, sleep rhythm and daily habits that actually recharge you.

Not the version of self-care that works for your pal. The one that works for your nervous system.

I love what this moon brings, if we let ourselves actually feel it instead of just reading about it. Let her move through you, not past you. She’s doing this whether we notice or not, she’s just far more beautiful about it than we ever are.

This Thursday’s full moon is also a lunar eclipse, the last in a two-year cycle that’s been quietly rearranging things since 2024. It falls in Pisces, the sign that dissolves edges before you’ve fully admitted something’s finished.

It’s the Sturgeon Moon too, named for a catch already gathered, not one still coming in. Six weeks of summer holidays, survived. Not perfectly. Just survived. That’s the harvest.

Notice what you’re still feeding that gives nothing back: the guilt, the tally of what you got wrong this summer. This eclipse isn’t asking permission to close that account. It’s just closing it.

So thursday night: ā€œI’m done carrying ___.ā€ Write it like you mean it. Then: ā€œWhat I’m making room for instead is ___.ā€ You never needed permission.

You are naturally enough to know when something’s finished.

Love Charlie Xx

I’m not an Ayurvedic doctor, and I didn’t invent any of this.

Ayurveda, a 5,000 year old system of medicine from India, has been naming the three energy types that run all of us (Vata, Pitta, Kapha) since long before wellness had an industry, or influencers, or 47 apps promising to fix you by Tuesday.

Get yours out of balance (hello, motherhood) and it shows up differently for everyone: scattered, snappy, or just flat. And no, the answer isn’t ā€œjust get more sleepā€ or ā€œhave another coffee.ā€

I’ve learnt it, digested it, and applied it to real mum life, the breath, the timing, the food, for a life that starts before you’re ready and doesn’t stop when you’d like it to.

Two minutes. Eight honest questions. You’ll know exactly which one is yours, plus the one thing that actually shifts it.

Old wisdom. New mum problems. Turns out it still works.

Take the quiz. Link in bio. Find out what ancient wisdom would prescribe for you. šŸāœØšŸ’–

The world is full of mothers and their children. .

That’s power. Real power.

So why does folding the laundry at 11pm undo you?

Nobody asks you what you want to be when you grow up anymore.

As a kid, it’s constant. Then you become an adult and the question just stops. And somewhere in the middle of no one asking, you can lose your way without even noticing.

Our culture expects constant output. Progress in a straight line, every day, forever. But we’re not built that way. We’re cyclical beings.

That’s where I met the moon.

Now, every full moon I ask what I’m ready to release. Every new moon I ask that question again, the childhood one. Who do I want to be. What do I want to grow.

Every single month. On repeat. It’s what keeps me out of the hustle and on my own path, not someone else’s pace.

I’m building something for mums like me. Breathwork mapped to the moon, so you’ve got a rhythm to borrow when yours has gone missing too.

It’s called The Inner Village and I’m building it right now. Follow along as it comes together, lovelies šŸŒ™

A year since redundancy and the luckiest day of the year. I’m not wasting that timing ✨

Losing my job took the identity I’d quietly built my whole worth on. No title, no team, no ā€œwhat I doā€ to answer with anymore. Just me…figuring out who I was underneath it.

I know so many mums carry that same quiet stripping, just from a different door: not a redundancy letter, but the slow disappearing into everyone else’s needs until you can’t quite remember your own name.

So tonight Im burning what was never mine to carry. I’ve written the next chapter as if it’s already true. - thank you for an incredible circle tonight šŸ«¶šŸ»

I’m building something for mums.. so stick around if you feel a little pull and give me a cheeky follow to see what this moon helps me move towards āœØšŸ«¶šŸ»
