Eco-Synthetic Dreams opens this week at the Holden Gallery

Curated by students from our MA Contemporary Curating course and developed in collaboration with Videocity, the exhibition brings together work by five artists exploring the relationship between ecology, technology and the environments we create.

The work on show features video, animation and immersive installation that invites you to imagine how our understanding of nature might evolve in an increasingly digital world.

Our 2026 Degree Show is now open 🎉

After a wonderful private view on Friday celebrating the successes of our creative graduates, the full exhibition is now open to all ✨

The FREE exhibition features hundreds of innovative works from students across & 👏🏻

The show is open till Friday 19 June.
Mon-Fri (10am-6pm)
Sat-Sun (10am-4pm)

From 1,400+ graduating students exhibiting across six venues, to a student-designed visual identity, a fully student-run shop, and even a free audio tour - there's a lot more happening than you might expect.

Whether you're an art lover, a future student, or simply looking for inspiration, the Degree Show is one of Manchester's biggest creative events - and it's completely free to explore.
