❗ THE INTRODUCTORY LECTURE ❗

Hi All!

We hope you are settling in well and are enjoying your time in University so far!

We are looking forward to seeing all of you in this year's first Introductory Lecture, which is going to run this Wednesday!
The Lecture will briefly go over the history of the Society, introduce the Committee and cover the Projects and Activities that are planned for this year. There will also be an overwiew of the structure of the teams and groups and the timelines of events associated with each of the Projects, including the major competitions.
You will then have the opportunity to enroll in the particular Projects of your choice and join teams with your colleagues, or even form teams of your own.

We would like to remind you that new students, who are not yet Members of the Society, are welcome too!

Hello again!

As most of you would be unable to attend the Introductory Lecture at the sheduled time tomorrow, we have decided to move it to a different day, for everyone's convenience.
Instead of that we are going to run an alternative introductory event in the main Flight Simulation Laboratory!
This is an opportunity for you to see the Engineering Flight Simulators in action and try your hand at flying models.
If you would like to join, please, come to the entrance foyer of the George Begg Building, tomorrow at 13.00 BST.
If you can not make it at that time, you can also pop in later.
In this case, please, make your way to room A10. Descend the stairs to the basement and take the very first door on your right. Alternatively, take the lift from the foyer - the room will be directly in front of you.

The Introductory Lecture is now scheduled to run on Friday, October 8th. It will run from 13.00 to 15.00 BST.
We deduced this time from the answers to the form we sent to you earlier today. Thank you for your help!

Thank you and apologies for any confusion or inconvenience caused. Please, rest assured things will be running smoother as we settle into the first semester.

Hi UoM Flight Simulation Society Members!

This would be tremendously helpful to us in ensuring the scheduling of the future events goes smoothly.

Looks like a lot of you are unable to attend the weekly events of the Society on Wednesdays due to your timetables. We would like to work out alternative timings that would be convenient for all the Members. Could you, please, indicate the times you can attend?
