You may have spotted our lovely new team member, Chris! Chris has been a porter at RNCM for a while, but is joining the Library team for the next few months to be our Records Manager. He says:
"Hi, my name is Chris and I am excited to be taking on the position of Records Manager at the RNCM Library - or annihilator of obsolete paperwork as I like to call it. I've been at RNCM for four years, previously as an Usher and as a Porter. Before that I've worked in record stores and in music journalism, so I'm happy to still be working in a music focused atmosphere. My special interests include collecting CDs and vinyl records of all genres, attending gigs, Japanese cinema, David Lynch, watching quiz shows, reading, travelling, and most recently I've been enjoying visiting National Trust properties across the UK. Everyone in the RNCM Library has been so welcoming and lovely. It's a fantastic privilege to be working in an award winning Library. 🤓"
