RNCM Students' Union We're your Students' Union. It's our job to make sure your time at the RNCM is the very best it can be! RNCM Students' Union is a not for profit student charity.

All students enrolled at the RNCM automatically become members of RNCMSU. Membership offers a wide variety of free activities, opportunities and events, from student societies and sports teams, to regular forums and focus groups the SU has it all. RNCMSU is run by students and for students. Please do not hesitate to get in touch, whether you're a current, past or future student! Everyone is here to help.

It’s the last week of term - looking for something to do? Come along to the 2026 RNCM Community Opera ‘The Water Mark’! In this third episode of INSIGHT, we take you behind the scenes to explore the process and hear from performers.

Devised by the community cast and RNCM students and led by composer Kate Pearson and director Jonathan Ainscough, the opera explores themes of community, women’s rights, climate change and working together towards a shared goal.

Tonight at 6pm in the Carole Nash Recital Room, RNCM students will perform programmes celebrating music by historically underrepresented composers.

Come along to hear some fantastic performances, discover repertoire you may not know, and support your fellow students as they compete for this year's prizes.
