Yesterday, Twitter announced they would make all public tweets since 2006 available to search. That is 500,000,000,000 tweets - growing at the rate of several billion tweets a week. The new index is 100 times larger than previous...mind-boggling figures! Twitter has committed major investment and development time to improve their index.
