MMU Connect MMU Connect is an international project from Manchester Metropolitan University and the Department of Apparel. Connect 5-21 March 2015.

The CONNECT Project – Sustainable Innovation in Fashion is a global, collaborative effort to bring awareness to students of fashion about sustainability and innovation in our professional field. Faculty/student teams from each institution (Buffalo State, MMU, BIFT and RMIT) will travel to each university to hold open discussions on the issues of consumption, the environmental impact of textile was

te and creative solutions in the fashion industry. We hope our students will become active in the effort to reduce the impact on the environment through sustainable practices while maintaining their creativity and commit to sustainability efforts through all phases of the fashion cycle from sourcing, manufacturing and design through to end of life.
