The winners of this year’s Manchester University Press Gothic Prize, run jointly with The Manchester Centre for Gothic Studies have been announced! Congratulations to Devi Krishna (St Teresa’s College, Kerala, India) and Joseph Howsin (Manchester Metropolitan University, UK).

Awarded annually, the prize recognises outstanding postgraduate research that demonstrates innovation and originality in the field of Gothic and Horror studies.

This year’s prize was awarded jointly to two exceptional scholars whose work offered the most original and thought-provoking work on the theme of Global Ghosts and Regional Hauntologies.
